A SPECIAL TIME...

Unfortunately, the Corona pandemic has also left its mark on our team. When we will be able to reach our usual strength of employees again, is still in the stars this year.

Jens and Stefan _

take care of the general organisation of the hotel business as well as the well-being of our guests, for whose wishes and concerns we always have an open ear. Both were born in Berlin and have known each other since their student days.

Jens has been working at the hotel since around 2005: he became the official hotel manager in 2015. In 2019, he bought the hotel business and has now been struggling to survive the house since the pandemic began, which after so long is of course more than just a place to work.

Career changers with passion_

What all the members of our team have in common – we are all career changers and passionate about what we do. Our good guest reviews on all portals over the years speak for themselves. It is precisely the mix of our professional experiences that certainly contributes to the special nature of the professional yet familiar atmosphere.

During the lockdown phases_

A really challenging time for everyone: we invested a lot of personal power and energy into the ArtHotel and its continued existence:

Jens took care of the renovation and furnishing of the rooms and could gratefully rely on the support of our craftsmen and the technical know-how of his dad.

Stefan, as well, has always kept the flag flying during this time, dedicating himself with vigor to the hotel’s online presences, such as our Facebook page, among other things.

Cristina_

With Cristina, born in Chile, we have also had a Spanish-speaking employee on board for 2 years. As the only female member of the team at the moment, she is a pleasant balance to the surplus of men and supports us in the breakfast service as well as in the reception.

Cristina has just finished her Master’s degree in Latin American History and will hopefully stay with us for some more time until she finds a new full-time job.

Antonio_

Last but not least, our third member Antonio takes care of the cleanliness of the rooms and the other hotel areas, and thus of all our well-being. He has been part of our team since 2018 and has a strong passion for the hotel business.

Not to forget our staff from the time before Corona: Cristina and Chuck help out from time to time even now, for which we are very grateful.
